What to Ask Your OBGYN

The numbers show that women are delaying their motherhood. The average age of women having their first child has risen. In fact, a large number of women more than 35 are having their first baby. These new mommies are looking for the best OBGYN to deliver their baby. Our belief is that a pregnant woman has the right to demand the best, and this certainly relates to the OBGYN who delivers her baby. We are experienced and dedicated to providing top care to our patients.

We are here to serve you and answer all your questions. All our patients are very important to us. We advise pregnant women to look for an OBGYN who is first licensed, board-certified and experienced. The best OBGYN for any patient is very responsive to their patient’s questions and will answer them promptly. In fact, they should take the time to sit down with the new mommies to be and answer all her questions.

Expectant mothers have a number of questions that they would like to ask their doctor. It is best to get those questions out in the open at the very beginning of the relationship. Don't be afraid to ask the doctor questions. You have a right to know vital information that might affect your pregnancy.

First, don't be afraid to ask your doctor about their background, education, and training. Ask them if they are board-certified. How many babies have they delivered? Ask them about what prenatal tests are available, what risks are involved with the pregnancy, if they have a 24-hour service to handle emergencies and more. These are only a few of the questions you should ask your prospective OBGYN.
